About Mrs. Ingersoll
Hi - My name is Andrea Ingersoll. This is my eighth year teaching at Highland Elementary in Crookston. I am so happy and proud to be a member of this wonderful teaching and learning community!
After graduating from High School, I moved from my hometown of East Grand Forks, MN to Bemidji, MN. I earned my Elementary Education degree and Middle School Social Studies bachelor of Science in 2001 from Bemidji State University. In the Spring of 2010 I earned my Masters of Teaching and Learning from St. Mary's University of Minnesota. I began my teaching career in the small town of McGregor, MN. I taught 3rd grade there for six years before moving to Bagley, MN and continuing my 3rd grade teaching for the next three years. In 2010 I was fortunate to receive my current teaching position. I am very happy to be back near my family in East Grand Forks. I am the oldest of three kids and my brother and sister both live in East Grand Forks with their families. I have three wonderful nieces, Haley, Avery and Finley and three busy nephews, Sawyer, Boden and Grady. They all like to keep me very busy as an auntie! A few years ago I was able to add to my family when my husband, Jason, and I got married. He has three nephews and a niece who visit us often. We are blessed with two wonderful boys of our own. Eddie will be four in October. He loves to run, jump, build things, play in the backyard, laugh, read stories and act silly. Charlie, almost two, does his best to keep up with his older brother by crawling at top speed everywhere. He enjoys getting into his brother's toys, banging toys around, pushing buttons on anything that will make noise or flash lights, and singing songs. They are the light of our lives and Jay and I wouldn't trade them for the world, unless it meant we could sleep in once in a while... :) |
